REVLON AGE DEFYING with DNA Advantage Cream Make-up Review

Hey there Lovelies,
Before my birthday I promised myself to buy me a Revlon foundation, I was planning to buy the photo ready one since i heard a lot of good reviews about it but unfortunately they were out of stock. So the sales lady showed to me the available foundations on their counter and she gave me the Revlon Age Defying with DNA advantage cream make-up to try out. As I am swatching it on the back of my hand I immediately found the right shade for me and i decided to get this instead. After a few weeks of using it I am now ready to give you guys my full review about the product.

Product Claims:
Revlon Age Defying with DNA advantage cream make-up uses advanced anti-ageing technology usually found in skin care. Blending vitamin B3, vitamin E, West Indian Cherry extract, Sodium Hyaluronate and ceramide complex, this anti-ageing foundation helps skin stay hydrated while concealing discolorations and imperfections. It contains SPF20 broad-spectrum protection and offers a moisturizing formula. The carefully selected ingredients helps protect the integrity of the skin's DNA while providing flawless and complete coverage.
The packaging was in this clear hard plastic bottle which you can actually see the shade that you are getting, It has a firm fitting red lid and it also delivered with a pump dispenser for fuss free hygienic way of extracting the product. Over all the packaging looks classy for me.

The foundation is creamy in consistency which makes blending so easy. You can use any brush you prefer when you apply it but for me I like using my fingertips to warm it up. One pump is quite enough to give me the coverage that I want without the greasy heavy feeling (A little goes a long way). My skin looks plumped and glowing with it on.A light dusting of loose powder or any finishing powder will set it really well.

My Thought's
  • The texture of this product is very much comparable to BB cream but this one does give you more coverage than the usual BB cream I've tried Plus this foundation comes with 8 shades to choose from-Fresh Ivory, Bare Buff, Tender Beige, Soft Beige (my shade), Medium Beige, Spice Beige and Honey Beige.
  •  I also tried piling two layers of this foundation but still It feels so lightweight.
  • No cakey feeling throughout the day even though I touch-up a couple of times.
  • No disturbing scent whatsoever.
  • knowing that It contains those Vitamins and moisturizing formula mentioned above It really gives me the confident to use it everyday.
  • Longevity of the foundation might be vary when you used a face primer (which I usually do and it stay's on for up to 8 hours).
  • Considering the weather here in the Philippines this foundation might melt a little bit especially in the summer "though I haven't experienced it yet". If you have severe oiliness then this foundation might not work for you because it leaves a dewy finish.
  • This foundation contains SPF20 but amazingly It doesn't leaves a white cast especially on photos.
Here is a photo of me wearing the foundation after office hours (8 hours).

With flash
As you can see I have a little bit of a shine on my T zone area that's because I haven't touch up for 4 hours before going home.
Over all I really love this foundation I'll probably buy another one if I ran out. I just don't like the fact that it's too pricey for a drugstore foundation.

Available at all SM Revlon counters for Php 995.00 for 30ml bottle.

That's it for my review lovelies hope you find it useful if you have any plans on purchasing a Revlon foundation.

See yah next post..
