I already published my Face of the Day earlier, so I decided to might as well share my outfit for today.

I originally planned to dress up a little today and suppose to prepare my outfit the night before but i was too tired that I slept early last night. Therefore nothing is prepared and I'm running late for work (story of  a working mom's life).

Since my newly bought blue maxi skirt is laying on my couch i decided to wear it haha (accessible eh).

You really don’t want to look like you tried too hard when you show up in a maxi skirt, because it’s already a showstopper, and since I aim for a relaxed vibe I reached out for my t-shirt and flats as well

The maxi skirt itself is love love love- very versatile and sultry looking because of the slit, you can also dress it up and down. I am actually excited to pair it with any other pieces in my closet.  

FOTD- Daytime Emerald Green

For my working ladies out there here's a make-up look that i wanted to share.

• after doing your whole face routine and all that jazz, you wanna make sure you prime your lids.

1. Taking the first color form your palette apply this all over the lid up to the brow-bone.
2. Next apply the matte brown eye-shadow on the crease passing through the sides of the nose this serves as transition color. 
3. Next step darken your outer v with a coppery eye-shadow and blend together with the transition color.
4. Lastly apply the Emerald green color on the center lids and blend blend blend.
5. Line your lash-line, curl lashes and add mascara

Mini Fashion Haul: House of Kezelle items

The package came in the mail this morning and I just cant hold myself  not to show these items to you guys argh!. I've been into online shopping this month and I am planning to do a collective haul and these two items were suppose to be included on that post, but upon seeing them this morning I just couldn't pass it.

so here we go.

Good Lord how sexy this romper is? the first time I saw it on houseofkeezelle I thought it only has cut-outs on the sides, but when i saw it personally and flip it bam!!! (sexy back) it has a style of a monokini swimwear but in a romper form (haha confused?). The graphic print especially is just sooo amazing and of course trendy.

 

And the last piece is this blue maxi skirt with slit, do i have to elaborate this? maxi skirt and maxi dresses with slit are on trend this fall so why not?

And that's just basically it go check out HOUSE OF KEZEELLE you might end up spending weekly like what happened to me haha (Happy Closet Crying Wallet) well that's just up to you ladies. Hopefully I could post the collective clothing haul before this month end.   

REVIEW:Mac eye-shadow in RICE PAPER and EXPENSIVE PINK.

Probably most of you ladies already have Mac eye-shadow collection on your stash, that there's no need for me to elaborate more about this brand. Currently I own two shades of them and decided to share my thoughts with you.

Price- 950 to 1000 pesos each

According to Mac their eye-shadows are highly pigmented powder applies evenly, blends well.

The shades that I have are: Rice paper (Frost)- Peachy gold with shimmer and Expensive Pink (veluxe pearl)- Pink with duo chrome.

 MAC Rice-paper is a very pretty frosty eye shadow color with a very nice subtle gold shimmer undertone which would also serve as a highlighting color perfectly not just for the brow-bone but you can also use this on highlighting the bridge of the nose, cheek area and inner tear duct. Really smooth texture, pigmented and not too heavy and very versatile.

Expensive Pink is definitely one of MAC's most unique colors. The pink isn't one that will make anyone look tired red-eyed since it's more of a peach-pink with a gorgeous gold duo chrome that complements all eye colors beautifully though this color cant stand alone its really perfect for glamming up on especial occasions or night events.

Mary Kay New products Haul

Yay! my Mary Kay items are finally here (it was delayed for a week due to the weather), and I'm quite excited to share with you guys their new products. I don't have to say much about this because its a haul so yeah lets see what I got.

• Mary Kay True Dimension lipstick in WILD ABOUT PINK and COLOR ME CORAL, each cost 860 pesos it comes in lovely seven shades.
•  Back-up's Mary Kay concealer in beige and Brow definer in brunette are old products (they are a staple in my kit)
• New shade of blush- Mary Kay Mineral cheek color in Champagne Rose cost 420 pesos. 

Mary Kay phased out some old products and added new ones (it's always exciting to try new products).

Katy Perry "Roar" Teaser video inspired Make-up look

Have you heard Katy Perry's new song titled ROAR?, you may have seen her dark teaser video on vevo as well. The shadow teaser clips starts with katy firing up a lighter and we see baby blue turned into a flame. I am excited for the official video to come out but for now here is a look inspired by her teaser video.

• I just did some full coverage foundation and contouring and a bit of a blush
• then for the eyes I used taupe eye-shadow to contour the crease and darken the outer v.
• added some falsies and mascara
• for the lips I used Maybelline's refined wine lipstick and that's it.

Mary Kay Oil Mattifier

Today is one of those days that i don't feel like putting on make-up, which gave me an idea of what product review to post next (wow laziness helps me). I don't own a perfect skin, I have so much to hide but most of all oiliness is my major problem. For today's product review I'm gonna be sharing about Mary Kay Oil Mattifier which has been my best-friend.

Mary Kay Oil Mattifier says:

Absorbs oil and helps control oil for at least eight hours. Plus, you can reapply it throughout the day.

Verdict:

• The product comes in a squeeze tube type of packaging with 6 fluid oz or 17 ml. 
• It comes in a tube with a small opening, so there's no contamination
• liquidy type of consistency
• smells like paste (for me)
• mattify my skin in an instant. 
• my skin feels soft after applying
• serves as my primer 
• I re-apply approx 8 hours
• doesn't give me breakouts 
• you cant re-apply this over make-up.

• right photo after applying the mattifier my skin looks way better and it feels like i put powder on.

Overall: I love this stuff! It really works well for me which Im giving it 5/5 If you're a grease ball like I am then you must try it, i just wish they have this formula in powder form.

2. What music are you listening to right now?- Lana Del Ray's tracks i love her voice, her face, everything! and shes my absolute girl crush I'm obsessed.
3. Do you like pairing your makeup looks with the clothes you'll wear and why?- sometimes-when its a especial event example if I'm wearing a sexy dress ill go for a smokey eye look, but for everyday I just go for my neutral shades you can never go wrong with it.
4. Do you have a favorite makeup artist? Who and why?- you tube gurus mostly, my local faves are Ms. Ana Victorino and Ms. Shebby Liquete I love their works crisp and clean for foreign would be the pixiwoo sisters and Tanya Burr their videos are informative.
5. Which do you prefer, Asian, US or European brands, for makeup products?- I haven't tried Asian makeup products yet because its not accessible for me. I haven't gone online shopping for ages in terms of make-up, So I go for US brands my current products are from there.   
6. Purple or Silver Eye-shadow?- ill go for silver, I find purple hard to work with. 
7. Red or Orange lipstick?- Red especially deep red its just sexy for me.

OOTD: Denim and Prints

Mr. Sun showed up today and that means one thing ill be staying late in the office, the port operations resumed and I'm the one in charge for some paper works. I am not a fashion blogger so don't judge me if I sound weird on this entry, I dress for comfort especially at times that I have to move around or as I said earlier OVERTIME..

See? i don't know how to play with camera when it comes to OOTD so forgive me on that.

I added the chambray to give me extra warm when I go home at night cause it tends to rain every afternoon here in La Union (psychotic weather) and the dress looks really beautiful on its own. 

Facial expression on the left photo looks really awkward I know! haha can somebody educate me on how to pose like fashion bloggers does?. Anyway hope you guys like it, its beautiful outside bright and sunny (kaya ilabas ang mga sinampay)haha 

Mac Prolong-wear lip creme in Unlimited Review

Finally a decent photo for this lippie this entry has been waiting in my drafts for ages as in last year pa! and finally published it today. My guy got it a year ago around November I believe and I've been using it just for especial occasions or importanteng lakad haha (mac eh! mahal) that's why it lasted me up until now. I'm not ashamed to tell you guys that this is the only mac lippie i currently owned and of course I want to have more when budget let me splurge. Oh! before I forgot he bought it at Mac counter/retail store (whatever you call it) SM mall of Asia for roughly 1000 pesos.

Mac Lip-cremes comes in new sleek packaging and it comes with 12 wearable colors.

 Mac says it has lightweight texture,creamy finish and comfortable long wear combine in this has-it-all pro-class lip color, slick in use and applies without the need of a top coat and still last up to 12 hours. Wont feather or transfer and the color stays true, helps lips stay soft and hydrated.

Verdict

• Unlimited- (a muted dirty rose) a satin medium pink with mauve undertones, a very easy color to wear that looks subtle and brightens up my fair complexion. 
• The formula is creamy and easy to apply, a very opaque, true color and dries fast (semi-matte finish). 
• Smells like chocolate when you sniff it from the tube.
• it actually kinda feel sticky and drying at the end of the day,
• and it does transfers just like other regular lipstick formula especially when you eat or drink 
• haven't tried this with gloss on top (not a fan of lip gloss it feels weird for me).

You ask me if I recommend it? of course, but if your looking for a daily color this might be way expensive.   

   

FOTD neutral and boring

Wow two post in one day, I'm on a roll today beybi. This one is gonna be  FOTD which I am currently wearing as office make-up if you wanna know what products I used and how i do it then just keep on reading.

• nyx photo loving primer as a base.
• For foundation I mixed Avon's hydrating bb cream in nude with Mary Kay matte wear liquid foundation in Ivory. 
• set it with Mary Kay pressed powder
• for brows i used Mary Kay brow definer in brunette
• bronzer and blush are from elf
• for the eye base i primed with elf eyelid primer in sheer
• then i used beauty UK neutral palette for eye-shadow 
• brown eye-shadow on the crease serves as transition color, rusty red shadow on the outer V blending with the first color, the the gold shadow in the middle and highlight color on the brow bone.
• lined thinly with Mary Kay liquid eyeliner, curl lashes and mascara I used maybelline the falsies mascara.
• for the lips i mixed elf lip stain in fashionista and Mary Kay lipstick in polished pink a mauve one.  

And that's how I did this look.

I've been AWOL for almost a year and I don't know how to start or what to compose as a jump start to update my blog (nangangapa nnaman ako!). Though I have product reviews on my drafts, I just couldn't wait  to post something to let you guys know na buhay pa ako, So here is an OOTD to share.  

I wore this outfit last August 1 just because its my birthday, since it's my day I went dressy and girly on the bottoms and casual with a touch of toughness on the top (trip ko lang).
