Hey lovelies! are you guys ready for the holiday? Im sure you all are. but first let me share with you my Monthly favorites since October has come to an end.
  • Ever Bilena Liquid Foundation in beige- This foundation has been my best-friend for everyday it gives me a natural and non cakey finish.
  • Nyx Photo Loving Primer- My inexpensive yet good quality primer, works really well with my EB Foundation.

Lastly my new Alcatel Onetouch Andriod phone with my purple cellphone case.

Adele Skyfall james bond inspired make-up look

Another James Bond movie titled Sky Fall will be showing on theaters this coming October 30,2012 and I'm quite excited, as well as my husband obviously because we are a James Bond fans. Adele on the other hand sings SKY FALL the official theme song to the James Bond film of the same name.
I got my inspiration from the photo above and here's my take about the look.

To get the look I focused more on contouring the hallows of the cheeks up to the temples and jawline.
Precised brows and neutral eyes with wispy faux lashes.
I lined my lips with red lip liner and filled it with deep red lipstick from nyx in Electra.
Sorry for the background I took photos inside my bathroom because I have better lighting in there, I also wear a black lace top.
Retard Pose lol.
Adele looks really elegant on this make-up look, I will probably wear this on special occasions soon. what do you think lovelies? Happy Monday everyone see you on my next one.

sliding over to reveal makeup below.

Random Eye-shadow swatches with primer.
  Blushes and highlighter swatches.
Pros:
  • This palette is affordable, this retails for Php.1000
  • Eye-shadows are consists of matte, shimmers, sheen and few have gold flakes on it.
  • Very well pigmented and not chalky at all
  • It come's with a huge mirror.
  • Very beautiful blush colors
  • Bronzer, face powder and contour powder suits my skin tone.
  • Lip colors are very daytime wearable.
  • Cruelty free
Cons:
  • The palette is heavy
  • Applicators are useless
  • Face powder shade may not suit to everybody's skin tone.
  • Highlighter is just a white eye-shadow placed in a bigger pan.

Overall
This palette is perfect for beginner's and to those who are in a budget, I really like that the eye-shadow colors are consists of neutrals and fun bright color's that you can use whenever you have make-up gigs. For me it's not travel friendly because it's heavy that you might break it.

Halloween Series: Sexy Leopard eyes.

Hi everyone!you can already feel that Halloween is just around the corner. Hotels, restaurants and some establishments have their Halloween decors already, and I finally decided to make a Halloween series this week. For my first look I did a sexy leopard eyes for those who don't want to wear scary make-up this Halloween you might want to try this.
After your full face foundation and brow routine you can now play with colors into your lids.
  • I used Ever Bilena moose eye-shadow in opal a coppery gold color on the entire lid up to the brow-bone, and also include the lower lashline.
  • To set the moose eye-shadow, I take a yellow gold loose eye-shadow from my careline quad and dust it all over my lid and lower lashline.
  • Then line your upper lashline with a black liquid eyeliner for that cat-eye effect. meow!
  • To the fun part, taking your liquid eyeliner carefully make a leopard print on both lids and wait for it to dry.
  • after a few minutes take a brown eye-shadow and fill in the leopard prints.
  • Curl lashes add mascara and falsies.
  • Time for contouring! I used ELF blush and Bronzing powder to contour hallows of my cheeks up to the temples and jaw-line.
  • Then on the lips I used Nyx Round lipstick in 507 a coral lipstick with a gold undertone to it. Then taking my gold loose eye-shadow I apply it on the middle part of my lip for that glowing effect.

And there you have it, A very easy and sexy make-up look for Halloween. See you guys on my next one:) meow...

Revlon Colorburst Lip butter in Cotton Candy Review

Hi ladies, I have here another product review and I know that this one is very familiar to you guys. Revlon Lip butters have been popular around YT and beauty blogs, most reviews I watched and read are raves about this product. Now I finally decided to make my own review about the shade that I got.
This product has a really nice packaging, It came with a quilted design on the plastic outer sleeves that give a high end feel to it. Each packaging colors matches the exact shades inside so therefore choosing the shade is a breeze.

Swatches:
Cotton candy is a soft, light medium pink with subtle cool undertones with shimmer.

To tell you guys the truth this shade is a bit disappointing (in my opinion) I am expecting more pigmentation since this is so pricey for a tinted lip balm. I cant wear this alone because it doesn't look good on me but this one is really moisturizing and glides on easily.
As you can see in this photo this lip butter thingy is such a mess, It melts like crazy I don't know why. I have to use a wet wipes each time I use this to clean the tube.
I also have to use lip liner before applying the lip butter, in this case I got to enhance the color a little bit, sometimes I use EB matte lipstick in mauve underneath and the lip butter for finishing touches.

Overall I still loving this product, It's really moisturizing on the lips and I am open to try out other shades that they have. What shade can you recommend for me girls? feel free to comment below. happy weekend:)

LOTD: PIN-UP Look.

Hi lovelies! Sorry for my lack of post this week I've been a lazy bum and I'm running out of ideas what to post, I read and watched tons of blogs this past days and that's what keep's me busy lol. After watching Msjessicaharlow's YT channel I was mesmerized by her Pin-up make-up tutorial that's why i decided to wear one today. I really like the cat like eye make-up, bold lips and wavy hair (though I didn't curl my hair here). anyways I focused more on the make-up and here's what it turns out I hope you like it.
Pin-up is a classic vintage fashion style which includes femininity and style. The original pin-up make-up had a certain paler look, but it is best to wear foundation that suits your skin tone.
Face Products:
  • Mary Kay primer
  • Revlon Age Defying Foundation in Soft Beige
  • Mary Kay Concealer in Beige 2
  • Maybelline powder foundation in Sand Beige

  • For the eye-shadows you can use colors which suits best for you. Colors that can add depth and dimension that way your'e eyes will stand out even more. Here I use a brown matte color on the crease and taupe eye shadow to create depth, on the lids I applied shimmery white shadow and white eyeliner pencil to the waterline, then the famous cat-eye liner, curled lashes and mascara to complete the eye make-up.

Of course a pin up look is not complete without the bold, luscious red lips. I know reds are tricky you have to choose red lippies that suits you and not make you look like a clown. My personal favorite red lip is EB extreme lipstick in Romantic red and red lip liner from EB as well.

I super adore this look it's glowing and healthy looking make-up, and it never go out of style it would look even more cute if I added a bandanna on my hair(maybe next time). Hope you love's like it and see you on my next one.

    • I also like how they separate the shades for women who have Fair skin and deep skin tones on the brochure, it makes choosing the right shades a breeze.
    • Glossy Finish
    • No disturbing scent.
    • I like the hot pink packaging and the unique quilted engravings on the bullet is very appealing to me.
