The Hunger Games "Catching Fire" Katniss Everdeen Inspired Look

Hello there tributes, finally I was able to re-create Katniss Everdeen's Make up look that shes wearing on one of their ads on the upcoming Hunger Games "Catching Fire". The movie premiers this coming November 22, 2013 which I'm sure everyone is excited to watch it.
My Inspiration for this look.

I'm sorry if I wasn't able to take step by step photo tutorial because I thought it wouldn't turn out good. and this look requires a lot of eye-shadows color to achieve the look.

katniss was actually wearing silver gems under her eyes but I don't have enough of it that's why i just added three red ones (shes girl on fire anyway).

Did you think I achieve it? This looks good on personal though (my face didn't give justice I'm sorry Jennifer Lawrence lol). .

Avon Naturals and Random Stuff Haul

Before I hit the sack lemme first share with you guys what i hauled this week. Avon September brochure is having a huge sale for up to 70% off (Natural products included) which is really amazing that I have to purchase some of their on sale items.

This is obviously for my son, I got him Swirling Strawberry Body Wash and Bubble Bath and Amazing Apple which is a shampoo with conditioner. These two bottles were now on sale for only 299 pesos only, originally they were priced at 240 pesos each which is really a good buy.

My picks on Any two fresh pick and mix sale are Avon Naturals Juicy Moisture Shower gel in Raspberry and Hibiscus and Avon Naturals nourishing shower gel in Milk and Honey both cost 189 pesos only, original price 115 pesos each shower gels.

Last Avon item is this Sakura Whitening cleanser which cost 119 pesos, less 20 pesos from the original price. I am not actually after the whitening effect of the product (if it really does work), but I am into the cherry blossom infused ingredient of it that's why I am trying this for the first time.

For more information about the sale check out their virtual brochure Avon PH.

And now for the random cheap finds:

The blue moon sundae reminds me of the smurfs ( la la la la la sing a happy song) these polishes were only 15 pesos each.

I also got some china brand lashes for my upcoming tutorials and celebrity inspired looks, I couldn't remember the prizes of these but I'm sure they're below 50 pesos.

and lastly some accessories for my upcoming tutorials and make-up look.

And that's all for now good night.

Mary Kay Mineral Cheek Color in Champagne Rose Review

You guys must be sick of reading my Mary Kay Posts/reviews lol (I'm sorry), majority of my make-up and skincare are from their (surprise, surprise) so i think we just all deal with it.

Quick update I finally settled down to my new one bedroom apartment, though I have to buy stuff like closet, some pieces to spice up the room and most of all AC (cause I am living on a tropical country that's why) but majority were ok and my plans are falling into right places as planned.

Now onto the review, I currently owned four blushes from Mary Kay and my newest addition is in the shade of Champagne Rose.

Mary Kay Mineral Cheek Color- A luminous, easy to blend powder that provides natural looking, stay true color and long lasting coverage.

Where to buy- Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant
Price- 420 pesos

Available in seven shades such as Sparkling Cider,Strawberry Cream, Cherry Blossom, Pink Petals, Shy blush, Sunny spice and Champagne Rose.

A perfect combination of brown and champagne color with shimmer in it.

Packaging comes in a regular plastic container (As Usual)  and the product was pressed into a magnetic pan ready to pop on to the Mary Kay compacts which you can buy separately. Mary Kay blushes including this one always has a very fine texture which made the product blends on the skin easily and really nicely.

Champagne Rose in face swatch

As you can tell the blush gave my face a radiant glow, it has a right amount of pigmentation and the gold shimmer Isn't that obvious hence it gives me the glow/highlight on my cheeks. Staying power depends on the base that you use, mine has to be the Mary Kay creme to powder foundation which (Lala-love) and gives the blush a whole day staying power without touch ups.

Overall the shade is really pretty, I'm loving it and not powdery at all. The price is reasonable enough and the amount of product will definitely last you a long time and lastly this shade suits also on warmer skin tone.

OOTD: Pumped Up Tee

I really don't know what got into me lately but I am currently lusting over pumped up tees, it's either graphic ones or a quotation tee shirt argh! I always flip---on a positive way. Penshoppe actually carries this kind of tees and I own a few of them, yesterday as I was browsing my Instagram I saw this post and i just went crazy.... I waaaaaant those.
It was actually kind of cheap rather than the two t-shirt that i got from them, oh well I'm just gonna get this as soon as budget permitted. i just couldn't get it now because I am in the midst of moving out from my old studio type apartment and I needed the money to pay for everything necessary (yeah you know what I mean).

Last night a friend of mine texted me that my order came, and i remembered (yeah I ordered this kind of shirt from MSE last month) and I was like jumping and I'm all over the place because of happiness (babaw girl!). Anyhoo I wore it to the office today and Im so happy and contented with the fabric of it and especially with the quote/style/print whatever.

It was just a basic green V neck t-shirt very casual and comfy and I paired em with this metallic skater skirt just to add girly vibe to it and for shoes I went to this metallic smokey grey-ish flats with ankle strap.

Top- Marikina Shoe Exchange
Skater skirt- house of kezeelle
Flats- Juana's Shoe Shop

What made this shirt especial for me? you better read it yourself lol.

I just wish they still have those t-shirts when I go there next week (Penshoppe), i really wanna see if they carry many variety/designs. And that's it for this OOTD post you guys thanks for reading.

Updated Daily Make-up Routine

Obviously as you can tell on the title above, today's post is gonna be all about my daily make-up routine and of course ill be including the products that I've been enjoying lately.

Starting of a bare face (yup I go to the office looking like this horrid)

This is actually optional for me, but at times that I want to, I apply concealer first on my under eye area for highlight and set it with powder.

Then taking my newest obsession (I'm in-love), I apply cream to powder foundation all over my face that needs coverage. There is no need for setting powder afterwards cause the foundation turns into powder in an instant.

Then I apply bronzer, blush and highlighter. In this look I used Mary Kay mineral cheek color in champagne rose which is not shown above hihi soweee.
next are brows, we all know the drill here ladies.
after shaping and filling them I use primer and a brush to kind of clean and prime my lids all at the same time.
Then I am currently using Elf's bronzer in golden and taking the lightest shade I dust it on the browbone and inner corners of my eye, this gives me a perfect highlight. For everyday I only use neutral shades for my eye-shadow and the rest will follow.

I line my eyes, curl them lashes add mascara, apply lipstick and I'm done
See how make-up turn my sleepy face to an awake one?, been sporting this look lately and I am enjoying it.
till next post bye!

House of Keezelle Collective Clothing Haul

I went cray-cray and did some spending almost every week on online shopping last month, though I have a reason cause it's my birth month haha.

I was actually skeptical at first because most online clothing sellers only have a small to large or one size fits all type of clothing sizes, but then again I give it a go just to try if it already fits me since I've lose weight this year.

I also have some pieces that i purchased at the mall that i didn't include here just to highlight my houseofkezeelle collection, again this is not sponsored or anything all of these items are bought with my own money (she didn't even know I'm doing this post)

Here we go... (they were wrinkly because they were all over the place got no time for organizing because I'm moving out from my recent studio apartment).

These galaxy tshirt and mettalic skater skirt were the first purchase from her shop, I couldn't remember the prices of these but I assure you all of these items are affordable.

galaxy t-shirt

Mettalic skater skirt

Coral Ombre Pullover (very comfy)

Striped skater skirt

Floral Corset- a bit tight on me

Bandage Skirt

Tribal Print Dress- OOTD post here

Star printed leggings- Its a freebie

If you were not intimidated with brand you might like the pieces that she carries in her shop, give it a try and the seller herself is really approachable and friendly.

Review: Mary Kay True Dimension Lipsticks

I've always been a fan of Mary Kay products esp on their lipsticks, though their price are up there! you really get what you pay for... there are quality here! some of their products are a staple on my everyday make-up kit.

We all know the drill here... after my Mary Kay Haul and a self test comes the review next- right?, the first product on my list are the MARY KAY TRUE DIMENSION LIPSTICKS and the shades that I have are WILD ABOUT PINK and COLOR ME CORAL.

Now on the review:

Where to buy- Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant
Price- 850 pesos

Taaaaa daaaah fancy schmancy Isn't it?

Mary Kay Dimensions lipstick packaging innovates to a whole new level, it was a bit confusing at first on how to open it (my first time to encounter this kind of packaging). It's a classy looking, ultra-stylish smoky platinum colored case with a clear button top (too see the shade) and to release the sleek lipstick from its sleeve (wow that's a mouthful).

Mary Kay says, Intensely moisturizing. Exquisitely smoothing. It’s like a color-infused fountain of youth for your lips.Instantly drenches lips in moisture and locks it in for endless comfort.Infused with advanced skin care ingredients, the formula smooths the appearance of fine lines and helps lips look fuller.

Comes in seven kissable shades such as FIRECRACKER, WILD ABOUT PINK, COLOR ME CORAL, NATURAL BEAUTE, SIZZLING RED, ROSETTE and SPICE N NICE.

Other Lip-loving ingredients are: Vitamin E, Sun Flower seed oil, jojoba and mango butters.

Lip Swatches

Wild About Pink-Glossy Bright reddish pink,

Color me Coral- semi opaque bright orange-y coral.

I am absolutely in love with these lipsticks, the formulation is quite similar with the lip butters from Revlon but this is more in terms of pigmentation. Plus the packaging itself is really inviting, its a perfect lip balm and lipstick in one, non greasy and really moisturizing. This shades could be a perfect alternative for nude lipsticks if your into a smokey eye make-up look, I also read a positive feedback about the other shades that they have and I'm gonna get them soon.

How about you guys do you like this kind of formulation? I hope you do cause I enjoy them so much.
